It promotes international friendship and understanding by providing Scottish hospitality for students studying at Universities and Colleges in Scotland.
VL Angus has no religious or political affiliations.

What does VL Angus do?

The International friendship programme gives Friends of VL Angus (our Hosts/Hostesses) the opportunity to offer hospitality to one or two students. This can consist of a visit for a meal or a day and, if the friendship develops , for an overnight or weekend visit. Hosts/Hostesses decide on how much they wish to be involved, to fit around their family and work commitments.

Who is involved in VL Angus?

In Angus we have a membership of 66 with 47 families currently providing hospitality to students.

We have one Development Officer who links students with a host family and promotes VL Angus and its activities in the local area.

The local area for the Angus branch includes Perthshire, Fife and Kincardine.
